Why does it cost money?

To run a server like this we are paying to rent hardware, and along with other setup costs we are hoping to make enough to keep the server running.  If we make substantially more than what it costs to run until 2026 we will use that money to improve the servers performance.  This would hopefully allow a farther render distance and larger player count.
